Leonh launches public comps data module within its valuation platform.
Stockholm, 27 June – Leonh, with its digital valuation platform Infinity, is launching a brand-new module and API integration with Factset to offer users access to the market's best and most renowned stock market data. This integration allows users to obtain transaction multiples (EV/Sales, EV/EBITDA, and EV/EBIT) for publicly traded companies in real-time across the globe, providing both automated and customised support. Pre-defined sectors and industries are available, but users also have the option to create fully customised groups.
"By integrating stock market data into our platform, Leonh users gain access to a rich database of financial information and analysts' estimates across a wide range of industries and geographic regions. This will enable more accurate and detailed financial analysis," said Douglas von Euler, CEO of Leonh.
The advantages are numerous, such as:
- Global Reach: Alongside Bloomberg, Factset is one of the world's leading providers, and their API gives users access to companies worldwide, expanding the possibilities of using Leonh for foreign company valuations.
- Deeper Understanding of the Market: Factset offers multiples based on both financial performance and analysts' estimates. Given that stock markets are often driven by market expectations, this is a critical component in understanding stock valuations. This is one of the primary reasons why Leonh chose Factset data over cheaper alternatives, which often lack this dimension.
- Pre-defined Sectors and Industries: Leonh has created several ready-made “comps groups” sorted by sector and industry, enabling users to quickly and easily compile a relevant list of companies for valuation. Best of all, the lists can be customised, allowing users to easily add or remove companies.
- Create Custom Groups: Users can also create their own custom groups by selecting companies using a simple search function.
- High Flexibility: Everything is editable, providing maximum flexibility for the user, including net debt, liquidity discount, dates, NTM vs LTM, median vs average, and more.
"With this new feature, Leonh continues to push the boundaries of digital financial services. Our platform is not just a transaction tool but a comprehensive solution for financial analysis and decision-making support," said Douglas von Euler.
